Cinnamon, Banana & Walnut Protein Cookies

So good and good for you too...

oatmeal cookies

A beautifully delicious high protein "treat" for when you need to grab and go or just feel that need to indulge.


Ingredients:

2 Cups mashed ripe bananas

4 Cups oatmeal

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cup applesauce

2 scoops vanilla protein powder (I like Tri-Release by Isagenix link here)

2/3 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup dried cherries or raisins (optional)

2 tsp cinnamon


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl until everything is uniformly moist.

Drop dough by tablespoonful on uncreased cookie sheet

Flatten to desired thickness (dough will not spread during cooking)

Bake 15 minutes

Cool and store in an airtight container.

Freeze what won’t be used in the next 3 days.
