Create the Season You Want (and the Health You Want)

The holidays have a way of feeling like they happen to us.
The schedules get fuller. The treats are everywhere. The routines loosen or even disappear.
And before we know it, we’re reacting — to food, to stress, to emotions, to expectations — instead of choosing how we want to feel and show up.
But here’s something powerful to remember:
We create our reality — either intentionally, or by default.
When it comes to your health during the holidays (and honestly, in life), success doesn’t come from perfection or restriction. It comes from intention.
Intention is the pause before the choice. It’s deciding how you want to feel before you act. It’s choosing your response instead of letting the moment choose for you.
And this season especially reminds us of something bigger.
If we want to do good and see good in the world — more kindness, more calm, more connection — we have to create it first.
Through our actions.
Through our choices.
Through the way we care for ourselves and others.
And… That includes how we care for our bodies.
You don’t need an all-or-nothing plan to stay healthy during the holidays. You need a few intentional anchors, because intention turns simple actions into powerful ones.
Things like:
- Pausing before meals and asking, “What would support my body right now?”
- Choosing movement because it clears your head, not because you “have to”
- Hydrating, sleeping, and fueling yourself so you can show up more present and more patient.
These small, intentional actions compound. They create momentum, and when you lead with intention, you’re no longer reacting to the season.
You’re shaping it.
This isn’t about controlling every choice. It’s about choosing on purpose more often than not.
- Have some protein before you leave the house for a party.
- Allow yourself to indulge in the special holiday treats but make sure to add a larger helping of “good for you” food to the plate and eat it first.
- Choose how and who you will create a blessing for before you start the day.
Every intentional decision — even a small one — reinforces the reality you’re creating:
A body that feels supportedA mindset that feels steadyA season that feels meaningful instead of overwhelming
And as we move forward, we'll continue layering in simple, doable strategies so your actions match your intentions — even when life is busy and festive.
When we move with intention, we no longer just survive the holidays.
We shape them — and we bring more good into the world and to ourselves.

Kim
